Booked and ready to roll..

I am from Bombay (Mumbai), I have always preferred public transport as compared to private car to travel around. In Pune the Public transport is so chaotic and unpredictable that people ahve no choice but to opt for a private vehicle.

Its been almost 3 years that we have been using a second hand Wagon-R. Althought I would like to blame it on my Infosys Salary :-), We bought a second hand car for getting used to driving regularly especially on Pune roads. Trust my my wife made sure I learned driving very well. She would insist I take her inside the smalles streets of Pune and park the car there. At times I had to wait patiently while she was busy shopping. All other vehicle would curse me as they went by.

Finally, we have made a bold move. We sold of our dear old Wagon-R and booked a Skoda Fabia. Probably the priciest purchase of a any item till date. There were countless test drives and even more number of internet reviews/ analysis. Fabia stood out amongst the others. Solidly built car with great comfort.

Approx a month to go before we get it. As soon as it comes, I intend to test drive it on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. Keep you guys posted.
